Hyped? Well, according to Darian this update will be HUGE:

War Tools Update (April 9th, 2018)
A little surprising but fitting to the anniversary of Clan Wars, there will be a small (optional) update today in Clash of Clans.
The main part will be the War Tools, that have been announced for the last update but probably haven’t been finished last month.
The War Tools themselves aren’t that spectacular as you can claim a base you want to attack and also leave notes at a base that other people from your clan can read (e.g. with a note how to attack etc.)
The claimed bases are not locked, so even of you claim a base someone else can still attack it – it’s nothing else than a friendly note but it might help those clans who still organize their full war in the clan chat.
MAINTENANCE BREAK starting soon, Chiefs! New Clan War tools are on the way: claim your target, and leave notes for your Clan mates on the War map!#fouryearsofclanwars pic.twitter.com/n8OkM8Dq77

4x Clan War Loot and Clan War XP
From April 9th until April 12th, enjoy 4x Clan War XP and 4x Clan War loot!
Throughout the Clan War Anniversary, when you purchase Gems in Clash of Clans you will have the ability to gift an additional number of Gems to your Clanmates! Want to reward your Clan for a well-performed War? Or perhaps you want to provide them with additional help to build up their Village? This is the perfect opportunity to give your Clanmates that additional extra boost.
- The Change Name, Filter Clan Chat, and Personalised Shop options have been moved to the new “More Settings” tab of the “Settings” menu.
- The Magic Items UI has been changed to display in an easier to read format.
- Wall segments will now display how many Ring of Walls items are needed to upgrade to the next level.
- Max-level Builder Base Troops will now display the flame icon with their level.
- Builder Potions can be used directly from the Magic Items UI.
Maintenance complete! Keep in mind that the full Clan War Tools functionality will be available after you download the optional update from the App Store or Google Play – update is still rolling out to the app stores so hang in there, it’ll be available to everyone soon! 🙂

5 New Potions (March 13th, 2018)
Within the official Fan Kit, Supercell just put some picture of new potions that we don’t know yet – take a look:
The 4 new ones are really interesting, especially when you take a look at their names.
Heroic Potion: This Potion can have different powers. On one side, the Hero regeneration takes long and we can cook 2 armies, so maybe it will boost the hero regeneration time so we can do 2 full attacks instead of one.
The other could be that we can use upgrading heroes for a limited time frame, e.g. to do some war attacks – I guess that would make this potion the most valuable one for most of us 🙂
Insta Finish Potion: Insta Finish makes not that much sense to me, as we already have the Books that finish Upgrades instantly and the Builder Potion that will boost upgrading. Any ideas? Please let me know in the comments.
Magic Potion: This potion is a mysterious thing, as I can’t really imagine what spell-related thing that potion can do that isn’t already covered by the other potions…
Reset Clock Potion: The icon of the Clock Tower already indicated that this potion will probably reset the Clock Tower cooldown so we can use it more frequently.
I got one more…
This one here is, according to the game files, called Potion of Strength
Hard to tell what it actually does after the Power Potion already maxes out troops.
As always, please let me know in the comments what you think about them and what they could possibly do 🙂
